Sooooo dreamy! Zac Efron got to show off his buff bod as he stopped by James Corden’s post Super Bowl 50 ‘Late Late Show’ special, and he had a blast showing off his best sports moves alongside his fellow guests! Read on for the big task he had in front of him!
Swoon! We just cannot get enough Zac Efron and we couldn’t be happier that James Corden had him be one of the guests on the Feb. 7 Late Late Show special edition following Super Bowl 50. The 28-year-old appeared with his fellow stars of this summer’s new comedy Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, Anna Kendrick, 30, and Adam DeVine, 32, as the talented threesome joined James in a manic attempt to recreate some of the greatest moments in sports movies with a little bit of help from a green screen.
Four stars, one goal: Recreate as many iconic sports movie scenes as possible, so James, Anna, Zac and Adam really had their work cut out from them! The three took the stage in front of a green screen with James wearing black t-shirts, but would be in store for plenty of costume changes. First James coached the three as they played the kids from The Bad News Bears with all three in yellow baseball caps.
Next up was Zac wandering around a cornfield from the baseball heartbreaker Field of Dreams, before the group shifted to act out another baseball movie, The Sandlot. Then it was the cheerleading classic Bring It On with all of them dressed in the part, and we totally love Zac going full in with a blonde wig, pom poms and red skirt. He even interrupted the group’s take on the basketball flick Hoosiers when he brought out his High School Musical skills by twirling a basketball on one finger. SO adorable and what a great throwback memory for all his HSM fans! Relive Zac’s breakthrough hit by clicking here.
We finally got to see Zac’s buff bod as he wore a white wife beater to re-enact the boxing film Raging Bull and OMG his bulging arm muscles! He’s definitely been hitting the gym hard lately. The group made it though another half-dozen bits sport sports films before each got a chance at acting out the Rocky movies 1-4, with Zac putting his boxing skills to work on a slab of meat, and again…he is SO ripped! Sigh. The manic session ended with James and the three actors in Denver Broncos jerseys to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl 50 win, and it’s clear who the superstar was in this crew as Zac got to wear Peyton Manning‘s #18 jersey at the very end!
