Lady Gaga kicked the Super Bowl off in one epic way. In a sparkling red blazer and matching pants, Gaga stepped in front of thousands and slayed the national anthem. Every note was absolutely perfect, and she belted out high notes like no one else in the world can.
The crowd cheered her on after her performance. Take your bow, Gaga. You deserve it! Before the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga revealed that singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl was a “dream come true.” She said in an interview with NFL Network, “I’ve always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl, and for it to be the Super Bowl… it is kind of the ultimate.”
Gaga’s performance was followed by an epic halftime time show, courtesy of Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Coldplay. The British rock group started out the show with a medley of their hits. In the middle of it all, Bruno showed up to sing “Uptown Funk.”
But the real treat came when Beyonce made her big debut. The songstress wowed with her first performance of new song “Formation.” Queen Bey reigned over the Super Bowl halftime show. We only wish Gaga would have hit the stage to perform “Telephone” with Bey. Now that would have been insane! Stream Beyonce’s music HERE!
