The year 2020 could not only see a President Kanye West, but Kanye West, Super Bowl halftime performer! Yeezy has his sights set on rocking the stage during the Super Bowl, and while he’s running for president is going to be the perfect time to do so!
Kanye West, 38, has decided that he wants a shot at performing during halftime at a future Super Bowl game! And furthermore, he wants the big show to happen as he’s campaigning for president, according to a source who spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY! How exciting is that?
“Kanye wants to do the Super Bowl halftime show, but not for a few years,” the source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He still is interested in becoming president and he would like to do it near 2020. Both because it will be used as a campaign stop, and the Super Bowl will most likely be in LA with the Rams new stadium being completed by then.”
Presidential candidate and Super Bowl halftime performer? It’s a lofty goal to strive for, but if anyone could achieve it, it would be Kanye for sure. It’s quite the different definition of “campaign stop” that we’ve seen anyone, really ever, pull out. Can you imagine Ted Cruz, 46, or Hillary Clinton, 68, rocking the mic at the Super Bowl? We didn’t think so! Plus, it’s going to be really convenient for him to get to the planned Rams stadium if it’s already in his hometown. Easy peasy!
Justin Bieber, 21, has also thrown his hat in the ring to one day perform in the Super Bowl halftime, according to a source who spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY! Justin was apparently so inspired seeing Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Coldplay jam at Super Bowl 50, that he could hardly contain his excitement thinking about doing that himself one day! So what about a Justin and Kanye team-up for one show? And hey, CLICK HERE to see our fave pics for Super Bowl 51’s halftime!
