Talk about star spangled and stunning! Gaga was an amazing choice to sing the Star Spangled Banner at the game with her powerhouse vocals and her larger-than-life personality. The game was held in February 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, Calif. at Levi’s Stadium.
Gaga’s glam routine was larger than life — and we would expect nothing less from the star! She rocked dramatic red glitter shadow and major lashes, keeping her lip neutral to compliment her statement shadow. She loved her look so much she took to Instagram to debut her glam look before the big game.

We can’t imagine the pressure singing on such a big stage but Gaga nailed it. She told the NFL Network before the game: “I’ve always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl. This is one of the highest honors of my career,” she said. “I get a chance to sing for all the athletes who have been working so hard their whole like for this moment.”
She added: “I have to live up to a song that stands the test of time. I think the best way to do that is kind of forget about yourself and just focus on what it means. … I’m really singing it from the heart and I’m also singing it really very true to the way that it was written, because I think that’s when it sounds its most majestic.”
