There’s nothing quite like the sight of a tiny kitten to make your heart go into overdrive. That’s why the third annual Kitten Bowl, hosted on the Hallmark Channel on February 7, was the perfect event. It combined the fun of the Super Bowl with the insane cuteness of a huge pile of adorable cats! We were far from the only people freaking out about this. There’s almost too much to gush about when it comes to the Kitten Bowl. The kitties were divided up into four darling teams: Boomer’s Bobcats, Last Hope Lions, The Home & Family Felines and The North Shore Bengals. The feisty little felines played their hearts out as they fought valiantly over football squeaker toys and ping pong balls, and somehow managed not to kill each other or destroy the thing. Props to whomever managed to train a room full of rambunctious kittens! Fans could not get enough of this amazing event leading up to the Su-prrr Bowl.
Nobody fights at the Puppy Bowl or the Kitten Bowl. Nobody loses. No one gets hurt. Everyone is just a fluffy furry bitty friend.

How did these people know exactly what we were thinking the entirety of the game? Those kittens were too much to handle, and to make things even better, they actually played the game pretty well. Sounds crazy, but it’s true! The first recorded two-cat conversion happened! Things didn’t all go so smoothly, though. Jason Pierre-Paw and Rob Gron-cat-ski got in a pretty terrible fight in the end zone, but sportsmanship prevailed!
