So cool! ‘Deadpool’ hits theaters this Friday, Feb. 12, so 20th Century Fox took full advantage of the massive Super Bowl audience by releasing a new trailer during it on Feb. 7. In it, we get more laughs, more action, and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool mocking football players! Watch here.
We can’t wait to see Deadpool! Not only do we love Deadpool’s “dark, twisted sense of humor,” but the movie’s new trailer, which aired during the Super Bowl on Feb. 7, had us roaring with laughter one minute and gripping our chairs due to all the explosive action the next. It’s definitely a movie we don’t want to miss. Watch the new TV spot here!
“Oh, hello. Deadpool here,” is what we hear Ryan Reynolds‘ character say at the start of the film’s Super Bowl trailer. He then continues, “I always wanted to be a professional athlete because I wanted to have children in cities all over the world.” Hilarious! Of course, the ad is also full of explosive action and a promise that this “hero” will “change the game.” Watch the full trailer, which was released on Feb. 7, above! 20th Century Fox describes the movie as the following:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
