This is absolutely appalling. Former ‘Survivor’ star Michael Skupin was charged with several counts of possessing child pornography on Feb. 5. We have all the horrifying details of his crimes, here.
Get ready to be disgusted. Michael Skupin, the former star of Survivor: The Australian Outback, has been charged with several counts of possession of child pornography. The 54-year-old Michigan man has also gotten 5 counts of larceny and one count of racketeering. We have all of the shocking details, here.
Michael, who starred on the Australian Outback and Philippines editions of the hit show Survivor, was charged with 6 counts of possession of child pornography, 5 counts of larceny and 1 count of racketeering on Feb. 5, according to TMZ. The cast member was infamous on the show for falling into a fire pit.
The Attorney General says they caught Michael because several people contacted them saying that he was running a Ponzi scheme and screwed them over. Victims claim to have lost up to $10k. Police then investigated the reality star before seizing his computer and recovering several images of children in sexual situations.
Even more horrifying is that Michael has a 10-year-old daughter of his own. Just days before the charges were brought against him, he posted a link asking people to donate to her American Heart Association fundraiser on Twitter. As recently as three days before the arrest he was posting about his beloved family, saying “10pm, on my way home from work, football & soccer I stop to buy salami. I order 3 pounds. The deli lady stares at me in disbelief. That’s not even a lot #bigfamilies.” We genuinely hope all of them are safe and healthy after this appalling news.
