Dave Mirra’s Death: His Touching Message For Wife Hours Before Dying – Hollywood Life

Dave Mirra Left Touching Tribute To Wife Right Before Apparent Suicide — See Message

This is so sad. Just hours before his tragic death, Dave Mirra took to Instagram to share a touching message for his wife, Lauren. Could this been his way of saying goodbye before his apparent suicide? Dave Mirra's wife is obviously going through an incredibly difficult time following his death, but hopefully this can offer her a bit of solace. Before seemingly taking his own life, Dave made sure to share one more public display of love for his lady, Lauren, on Instagram, and it breaks our hearts to know that she will have to continue on without him.

The 41-year-old took to social media to share a sweet photo of him and Lauren indulging in a champagne toast, and captioned it, “My rock! Thank god.” Unfortunately, not long after the photo was posted, Dave was found in his truck in Green, North Carolina, dead of an “apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.” Dave and Lauren had two children together.

Dave is known as a BMX legend, who also hosted two seasons of MTV’s The Challenge. His pal, TJ Lavin, who is the current host of the show, was understandably heartbroken upon heading this news. “I just wish he had called me,” TJ told TMZ. “I would have jumped on a plane in a second. There’s always another way. If anyone needs help, just please get it. I feel sick about this.”

After gathering his thoughts, TJ took to Instagram to further touch on this subject, sharing a touching tribute to his friend and urging anyone who might be in the same situation to get help. “Dave always had the best stories. He was one of the funniest people you could ever know and was super quick witted,” he wrote. “I could give you a hundred examples of the things he’s influenced me on. What a shock when I got the call yesterday. Please know if you’re even thinking about doing something like this that its NOT the solution, EVER… please call someone and tell them you need help. It’s a permanent solution to a temporary problem. This goes out to anyone. Please get help there are people out there that will thank you…” So sad.

HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Dave leaving this message for his wife before his death? Are you shocked to hear that he has died?
