Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani finally making sweet music together?! The lovebirds were photographed heading to a recording studio together earlier this week, and we can’t help but wonder if this means they’re going to be collaborating on a song.
Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 46, have had weeks of practice balancing their personal relationship with their professional one on The Voice, and it looks like they’re going to be balancing that line once again on another project! The singers arrived at a studio in Los Angeles together, and we’re crossing our fingers that this means they’re recording a duet together.
The couple looked cool and casual during their studio date, and it’s been reported in the past that they’re planning to record a country song, but neither gave any indication to the nature of what went down. We know they’re both working hard on new music, separately, so one of them could’ve simply been supporting the other at a solo recording session, but you never know when the creative juices will get flowing!
Back in January, Gwen took to Twitter to share a photo of herself with songwriters and producers, and Blake was quick to reply with the sweet comment, “Guaranteed greatness.” The 46-year-old then took things a whole step further by revealing she was “writing songs about a cowboy,” and we can bet that while Blake is in the studio, he’s probably writing some tunes about her, too! Things are clearly still going well for these two, but if they want to take the next step in their romance, they’re going to take care of one little problem: She’s still technically married to Gavin Rossdale! The divorce hasn’t been finalized, and since Gavin’s still wearing his wedding ring, he doesn’t seem to be in any rush to move the process along. Yikes!
