And the feud continues! After being accused of ‘fraud’ and ‘stealing’ the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 3, Ted Cruz fired back at Donald Trump with a hilarious tweet in which he mocked the businessman for throwing — wait for it — a #Trumpertantrum! See it here!
This is just too good! Ted Cruz, 45, didn’t hold anything back when he took to Twitter on Feb. 3 to respond to Donald Trump‘s, 69, claims that he should be disqualified from the Iowa caucuses for fraudulent campaign practices. In what is without a doubt his sassiest tweet to date, the Texas Sentator hit back at the Donald in a major way, claiming his accusations were nothing more than yet another #Trumpertantrum! See his full response below!
Having had enough of Trump’s accusations, Ted took to Twitter on Feb. 3 to respond to claims that he mislead Iowa voters, chalking his rant up to nothing more than a childish outburst. “Yet another #Trumpertantrum…@realDonaldTrump very angry w/the people of Iowa. They actually looked at his record,” he tweeted. Burn!
Considering how amazing and perfectly fitting the hashtag is, it should come as little surprise to learn that it immediately started trending, with fans sharing a variation of memes featuring the often scowling Republican candidate. Here are a few of our favorites:

In addition to sounding off on Twitter, Ted also voiced his opinion to news reporters before an event in Goffstown, New Hampshire. “It’s no surprise that Donald is throwing yet another temper tantrum — or, if you’d like, yet another ‘Trumpertantrum,'” he said. “It seems that his reaction to everything is to throw a fit, to engage in insults. I understand that Donald finds it very hard to lose, that he finds that very difficult to him. But at the end of the day, the Iowa people spoke. Donald trump guaranteed a victory in Iowa and then he lost, and he doesn’t like that.”
“My girls are 5 and 7,” Ted continued. “And I got to tell you — Caroline and Catherine are better behaved than a presidential candidate who responds by insulting everyone every day when he loses.” He’s definitely got you beat there Donald!
In case didn’t already hear, Trump stirred up drama on Feb. 3 when he went on an hour-long Twitter tirade in which he accused Ted of misleading Iowa voters by putting out a release prior to the start of the polls telling his supporters that fellow Republican Ben Carson had dropped out of the race in order to steal his votes. The former Republican front-runner “Ted Cruz didn’t win Iowa, he illegally stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong any why he got more votes than anticipated. Bad!,” wrote Trump before demanding that he be given a rematch. Sorry Donald, but it looks like the people have spoken: It’s #Trumpertantrum 2016!
