Whoa. The lead singer of Puddle of Mudd had a total breakdown on stage, accusing one audience member in the front row of stealing his house. Click inside to see the crazy video!
Wes Scantlin, 43, stopped Puddle Of Mudd‘s concert on Saturday night, Jan. 30, in Marietta, Ohio when he believed a fan had stolen his house from him. Video from the event shows Wes telling the band to stop playing and then telling the audience that he was going to cut the set list short because of his issue with the fan. Yikes.
Warning: the above video contains explicit language. Apparently the lead singer of Wes Scantlin has had some issues with his home, because during his Jan. 30 concert he totally lost it on someone that he believes “stole” his home. Unfortunately, this caused him to shut down a concert which left many fans seriously upset.
At the beginning of the video you can see Wes singing the last note of one of the band’s songs, but his eyes are locked on an audience member. He continues staring at the audience member until the music stops all together, and then he asks, “Who are you, man?” Things get increasingly more awkward from that point on.
As Wes continues staring at the audience member the crowd starts chanting, “F–k that b–ch!”
“Are you the dude, man?” Wes asks, leaning forward. “Are you the dude who looked at me the other day in the f–king eyeballs and said, ‘Fuck you’?” He then tells the audience and his band, who have started playing their instruments, to stop so he can continue questioning the fan.
“It looks a lot like you, dude,” Wes says again, and then accuses the audience member of stealing his house. “You stole my f–king house man. You are a f–king insane freak of nature. And you think it’s f–king funny, man?”
Unfortunately for the concertgoers, the rant goes on for at least five minutes before Wes puts on his jacket and walks off stage. Check out the full video above to see how it goes down!
