Little Monsters, rejoice! Lady Gaga has been tapped to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7. She’ll sing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where the Carolina Panthers will take on the Denver Broncos! We can’t wait.
Super Bowl 50 just got a whole lot sweeter! Not only will Beyonce and Coldplay be performing during the Halftime Show, but Lady Gaga, 29, will be singing the National Anthem on Sunday, Feb. 7. Rah rah ah-ah-ah!
Lady Gaga will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where the Carolina Panthers will face off against the Denver Broncos, The Associated Press reported to NFL.com. Furthermore, Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin will perform the song in American Sign Language.
This is amazing news and it has been such an awesome year for Lady Gaga. Just recently, she won a Golden Globe for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel, and later this month she may win an Oscar, as she was nominated for best original song at the Academy Awards with “Til It Happens to You” from The Hunting Ground. Plus, she’s engaged to the super hot Taylor Kinney.
