Colin Donnell has finally found his home (where he hopefully survives this time) on ‘Chicago Med,’ but he’s having a tough time staying out of trouble!
In the most recent episode of Chicago Med, we saw Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) once again but heads with his boss and romantic interest, Dr. Zanetti (Julie Berman) — not such a great combo. So, could they actually make a relationship work? Well, that’s still TBD.

“I think they’re two people who care about each other very very much, but there’re also two very strong willed people,” he told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “The complications that go along with dating a superior — it certainly makes for interesting dynamics. They’re keeping it under wraps, [and] trying to keep it as professional as they can.”
However, that’s not the only relationship in the hospital — Dr. Rhodes also seems to butt heads with Dr. Halstead (Zach Gehlfuss). “I certainly think there is a mutual respect between the two of them — they are two doctors with two different ways of going about medicine,” Colin told us in an interview before this week’s episode. “I certainly hope that the two characters make up. I think there’s a great potential for deep friendship.”
While Halstead has his own romance brewing, everyone a Med should expect a new face soon — there’s a new doctor coming to town. “Right now we are focusing on within the walls of the hospital,” Colin said. “The new character you’ll be introduced to within the coming week that Dr. Rhodes develops a relationship with — he’s a new surgeon that you’ll be introduced.”
We can not wait! Tune in to Chicago Med at 9PM every Tuesday — trust me, it’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, as per usual.
