People are super annoyed that David Beckham’s 16-year-old son, Brooklyn Beckham has landed his first Burberry campaign but not in front of the camera. The teen shot the campaign and longtime photographers in the industry are said to be pissed!
Brooklyn Beckham, 16, just got the career break of a lifetime but not everyone is happy about it. The teen shot a campaign for Burberry’s upcoming fragrance on Jan. 30 but experienced photographers are slamming Burberry and Brooklyn for getting this unbelievable gig, just because he has famous parents.
“David and Victoria Beckham represent sheer willpower and graft… They represent hard work and then their 16-year-old year son comes along and it’s sheer nepotism,” photographer Chris Floyd tells The Guardian. “He hasn’t done it from hard work, which is counter-intuitive to what his parents represent. Part of me takes my hat off to Burberry and says that’s clever, but the photographer side of me says for god’s sake.” Yikes! Well it’s definitely true that Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham worked hard for their money and fame. Victoria from the Spice Girls and her successful clothing line and David from soccer and just being an all around stud.
But then again, what’s the harm in Brooklyn getting his feet wet? Some pics below from Brooklyn’s Instagram page show him hard at work and our hats off to him.
Here’s a super cool behind the scenes video of Brooklyn shooting the campaign:

It’s true that he does have 6 million IG followers and Burberry saw this as a great opportunity to get some more hype around it. We have to admit, we are happy for Brooklyn!
