Gwen Stefani better watch out because Miranda Lambert is coming for her. While Gwen and Miranda’s ex, Blake Shelton, are busy being in love together, a new report claims Miranda is writing revenge songs that will completely trash’s Blake’s ‘Hollywood replacement’ girlfriend.
“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” the old saying goes and Miranda Lambert, 32, is about to prove how true it is. Miranda plans on letting out her pain and anger over the break-up with Blake Shelton, 39, by trashing his love, Gwen Stefani, 46, with an album full of revenge songs!
“Miranda’s trying to intimidate Gwen. She’s doing everything she can to get into her head,” a source close to the “White Liar” singer told Life & Style magazine. While Gwen and Blake are busy having amazing sex and giving each other the best presents ever, Miranda’s busy composing music that not-so-subtlety disses the No Doubt singer.
“[She’s] been in the studio writing and recording some powerful breakup songs and there’s no way you won’t know who or what Miranda is singing about,” the source tells Life & Style. “One song takes a direct jab at Gwen, talking about an ex who’s found a ‘Hollywood replacement.’”
Uh, yikes. Yeah, there’s “no doubt” who that song is about. Of course, Gwen is not Miranda’s only target, as she’s reportedly planning to flaunt her romance with Anderson East, 27, on the album. Miranda has songs about “how her dreams of finding that ‘Prince Charming and the white-picket fence’ are finally coming true.” You can listen to unlimited and ad-free music from Miranda, Blake and Gwen by signing up here.
While songs are one way to get revenge on a former lover and his brand new girlfriend, Miranda reportedly plans on kicking her payback up a notch. A “fired up” Miranda is “on a quest to have a baby,” since the news will get back to Blake, who allegedly wanted to start up a family when he and Miranda were together.
Blake is in no rush to have kids with Gwen, but the two are reportedly working on an album together. The planned collaboration will “mix Blake’s country voice and Gwen’s pop expertise,” according to an InTouch Weekly report. So whose album will drop first – Miranda’s, or Blake and Gwen’s?
Do you think Miranda should be writing revenge songs about Blake and Gwen, HollywoodLifers? Or should she leave them alone?
