‘Carnage Park’ Writer/Director Mickey Keating explains what makes his survival movie unique, and how he created the ‘coolest bad guy in the world.’ Check out the hilarious interview, right here!

Mickey Keating explains how he made Carnage Park so interesting – by creating the “coolest bad guy in the world”! The film has everything: survival, a madman in the desert, and a hardcore chick that can’t be beat. Check out the awesome interview, here!

Mickey describes his film Carnage Park as a “fight for survival in the desert.” The film sounds like nothing we’ve ever seen before, “two bank robbers [Michael Villar & James Landry Hebert] take a hostage and drive into the wilderness where they stumble upon a stretch of dessert occupied by this wonderful man who hunts people for sport.” Uh… that sounds scary!

However, Pat Healy’s character sounds as interesting as he is terrifying. “Scorpion Joe is the coolest bad guy inthe world,” says James. Pat describes his character as “completely confident and funny and fun.” Then there’s Ashley Bell, who plays a total boss ass b*tch. “She fights to figure out how to survive and to not be a victim,” says Ashley. Mickey definitely isn’t playing it safe. “We tried to switch it and flip it on it’s head so even if you have some sort of preconceived notion, you will be totally thrown for a loop.”

We can’t wait to watch! HollywoodLifers — does Carnage Park sound like your cup of tea? Let us know in the comments.
