While everyone in New York City was snowed in, Ronda Rousey was busy hosting ‘Saturday Night Live!’ She may be one tough cookie in the octagon, but this girl knows how to hilariously work an audience.
Ronda Rousey, 28, took over Saturday Night Live on Jan. 23. The UFC star showed up dressed to impress and had her comedic wits about her. Not to mention she shocked the audience by apologizing to Holly Holm. Is there anything she can’t do?
Despite major shutdowns throughout New York City thanks to winter storm Jonas, the show must go on! Ronda came out fired up and delivered an epic monologue. The UFC fighter came out and shocked everyone when she apologized to Holly and congratulated her on the big win — it was truly amazing.
Yes, as we had hoped there was a huge diss to Justin Bieber. At one point Ronda says he isn’t relevant anymore and then proceeds to slap the actress (Kate McKinnon) portraying Justin. It was sensational.

After an insane year — and headline-making loss to Holly Holm, 34, at the end of 2015 — it was the perfect time for Ronda to host SNL for the very first time. Prior to the show, Ronda paired up with musical guest star, Selena Gomez for some inspiring promos. What we’re really hoping for, though, is for Selena to get in on the action and take part in a skit or two!
