During the premiere of ‘Kocktails With Khloe,’ Snoop finally breaks his silence on the horrible Twitter feud he had with Iggy Azalea in 2014. But did he finally apologize for the mean things he said about her?
Snoop Dogg made major headlines in 2014 when he made fun of Iggy Azalea for not wearing makeup. But when Khloe Kardashian asked him about the infamous Twitter feud on Kocktails With Khloe, it was his opportunity to set the record straight and explain why he compared Iggy to a long-haired man on Instagram with the caption, “Iggy Azalea no make up.”
“We had a little somethin’ somethin’ once upon a time,” Snoop said. “And then T.I. called me and said, ‘that’s my heart.’ So I let the b**ch slide.”
In case you don’t remember what the fight was about, a few years ago Snoop totally slammed Iggy for no apparent reason. Iggy tweeted multiple times at Snoop and said that she just couldn’t understand why he would say such mean things about her: “@snoopdogg why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures every time we are at shows together? My bodyguard stopped the fire truck that saved your friends life in canada when he almost burnt down the hotel … and every time I’ve spoken to you, you’ve always been nice as hell. I’m disappointed you’d be such an ass for no reason.”
After watching Snoop on Khloe’s show, we’re surprised that Snoop was so mean to Iggy. But it seems that maybe he learned from that feud and he’s grown up a bit himself. The rapper said multiple times that he’s all about “peace and love” these days, so we hope he sticks to that in 2016!
