Is J.Lo headed to the Super Bowl? A source reveals EXCLUSIVELY to that Jennifer Lopez is hoping her Las Vegas residency will pave the way to one epic Super Bowl halftime performance in the near future!

Jennifer Lopez, 46, has big plans to take on the Super Bowl in the coming years. As she prepares to dominate Las Vegas with her residency in 2016, a source close to the “Booty” singer tells EXCLUSIVELY what’s to come for J.Lo!

Could Jennifer Lopez be the next great pop artist to rock the Super Bowl halftime show? That’s what she hopes, has EXCLUSIVELY learned, and if all goes well during her Las Vegas residency the chances are very high she could do just that. How exciting!

“Jennifer is excited for her Vegas residency to start as she sees it as a major milestone in her career, but she also is using it as a place to show the NFL that she should be the Super Bowl halftime performer next year,” our source explained EXCLUSIVELY to, referring to the 2017 game. “Vegas will be her highlight reel! She really wants to do the Super Bowl and she wants to be the first person the NFL asks for Super Bowl 51 and her Vegas show will prove that 100%.”

Of course we agree that Jennifer would be an incredible halftime performer, especially with all of the really fun hits she has such as “On The Floor,” “Waiting For Tonight,” and so many other gems. Oh, and the best part? The NFL is totally interested in making her a headliner!

“The NFL would definitely be interested and would be happy to take on those discussions but not anytime soon,” a source shared with EXCLUSIVELY. “They have plenty of time to figure that all out and when plans start materializing for next year then they will cross that path.”
