OMG! This is too adorable for words. Kim Kardashian West posted a video of husband Kanye West as a child reading a poem he wrote about Martin Luther King, and shared it in honor of the slain civil rights leader’s national holiday Jan. 18. He had a way with words even as a youngster!
Our minds are BLOWN! Kim Kardashian used the MLK holiday to give us the cutest glimpse EVER into husband Kanye West‘s world and we…are…dying! She posted a brief video of him looking to be around nine or ten years old reading a powm he wrote about the late civil rights leader, and the delivery and power he was with it — even as a child — is exactly the same as the passion he drops rhymes with to this day! You have got to see this video, it will make your day!
Proud wife Kim showed off the adorable video on her Instgram with the caption, “Baby Kanye reciting a Martin Luther King poem. Happy Martin Luther King Day.” The video starts out with him standing in front of a microphone and announcing “My name is Kanye West and my poem is ‘His Name Is Love,'” which he says with the same force that he raps with today. “A man who fought for freedom. A man who fought for equality. Those who were against him were too blind to see,” he says with power and passion.
He doesn’t even look down as delivers the poem to an audience while standing in front of a podium. He looks straight out at everyone and pours his heart into his poem, proving that even way back then he knew how to own a room. Seriously, this video is EVERYTHING! It’s so cute to see him with that ability to deliver at such a young age, no wonder he became a rap superstar when he grew up!
