With ‘Fuller House’ officially coming to our living rooms (and yours) on Feb. 26, we still have a tiny ping of hope that Michelle will return. Well, now we exclusively can tell you that may be true — at some point.
We just got a glance at the
Tanner Fuller home in the new teaser featuring all our favorites — well with the exception of one little girl (played by two). So, is there a chance that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen could possibly show up on Fuller House if the show gets picked up for another season? Well, the short answer is: yes.[hl_amazon_single url=”http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BNPC3D8/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00BNPC3D8&linkCode=as2&tag=hollywoocom-20&linkId=M5LEJALPLXNMAAWS” header=”Watch ” title=”Full House”]
“There is still a chance we will see the Olsen Twins on the show in the future and in a future season,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively about the new Netflix series. So, why were they so hesitant? We know they were uncomfortable having not acted in years, but was that the only reason?
“The girls are going to wait and see it and see how it is accepted before they move forward with it,” the source told us. “They both understand that there is a lot of excitement surrounding it but they keep asking the question, ‘What if it is bad?’ They are in a wait and see mode right now but there is certainly a chance they may show up in the future based on its success.”
Of course fans are dying to see Michelle on the show. Currently, the Netflix series features a widowed DJ (Candace Cameron Bure), who has sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and BFF Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move in to help out with her kids (and their own). All of the main characters from the original cast will also return for guest spots, including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger and Lori Loughlin.
However, MK&A will not be returning, as Michelle is off in New York starting her fashion empire. Hey at least Netflix is doing the whole art imitating life thing, right? So what do you think, should the Olsens at least make a cameo in a season two (should Netflix pick it up)? Do you think the show can work without them? Let us know!
