Drop the mic! President Barack Obama definitely wasn’t holding back when he suggested that Donald Trump could one day give a State Of The Union speech… on ‘SNL’!
President Barack Obama, 54, isn’t afraid to put Donald Trump, 69, in his place. While preparing for what will be his last State Of The Union address, the 44th POTUS talked about what it would be like to watch his potential replacement, Donald, give the very same speech.
Okay, this may go down as one of President Obama’s greatest disses while in-office. Never one to shy away from his true feelings, ‘Bam revealed that he really does look forward to seeing Donald Trump give the SOTU speech one day. You know, as a comedy skit.
“Well, I can imagine it — in a ‘Saturday Night‘ skit,” the President of the United States told the Today Show in an interview on Tuesday, Jan. 12, just hours before giving his final speech. Sick burn, Barack!
The President continued with, “Look, anything’s possible. And I think, you know, we shouldn’t be complacent.”
However, his Vice President, Joe Biden, who joined him for the interview, was a little more hesitant to throw shade at The Donald. But, he did make sure to point out where the presidential hopeful could use some serious work.
“He is divisive — I think he’d have to acknowledge that he’s very divisive — and that’s not healthy,” Joe explained, referring to Donald’s public persona. “We always do best when we act as one America. We always do poorly when we appeal to our fears and our differences.”
Well said, Joe! It’s definitely going to be an interesting evening, especially for those who follow Donald on Twitter as he’s sure to live tweet his way through the State of the Union speech.
