Wow! Country crooner Canaan Smith just brought the house down with his incredible ‘America The Beautiful’. The singer helped kick off the CFP National Championship on Jan. 11 with the lovely rendition, and he got the crowd totally pumped!
Canaan Smith, 33, just brought country music to the College Football Playoffs! Taking the field, the up and coming artist that hails from Virginia performed “America The Beautiful” at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. We’ve never been more ready for some football!
Talk about epic! Canaan performed the most beautiful rendition of “American The Beautiful” that we’ve ever heard just before the beginning of the big CFP National Championship on Jan. 11. And, boy, did he start the game off right! The gorgeous crooner stood in front of the Pheonix Childrens’ Chorus while they created the most beautiful background music. Strumming on his guitar, he practically made us melt!
Not to mention how gorgeous he looked standing on the stadium field! The country singer rocker a pair of jeans, and a comfy looking gray shirt under a sexy black leather jacket. His five-o-clock shadow had us drooling over the screen while he rocked out.
Canaan performed just before the Clemson vs. Alabama game, which was scheduled to start at 8:30pm ET on Jan. 11. He definitely did an amazing job “kicking off” the evening with his awesome performance, didn’t he? Swoon!
However, Canaan was not the only performer at the CFP National Championship game on Monday, Jan. 11. Fellow country artist Eric Church headlined the Championship Tailgate, and then it was Ciara who joined Canaan on the field where she sang the National Anthem. Talk about a star-studded sports event! Now all we need is some wings and a drink or two and we’re soooo ready to enjoy the game.
