We have to talk about how amazing Rooney’s braided updo by Adir Abergel is. Slicked back at the front with gel, Adir divided Rooney’s hair into a high and low ponytail at the back. To give the braid a deconstructed look, he applied a texturizing spray to the ponytails before tightly braiding the first pony into the second and securing with an elastic.
For her makeup, Rooney’s porcelain skin was completely flawless, and she was definitely sporting the boldest brows of the night. Kate Lee gave her a berry lip that stole the show on her otherwise simplified beauty look, which included pale pink cheeks and lengthened lashes.

Rooney, of course, was in attendance because of her Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama nomination for her role in Carol. If you can’t get enough of Rooney, you’re in luck because the actress has several projects in post-production for 2016, and she’s even been rumoured to be appearing the sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
In a recent interview, Rooney said of the role of Lisbeth in the sequel, The Girl In The Spider’s Web: “As far as I know I’m doing it until someone tells me otherwise. I’m doing it unless someone tells me that I’m not—and then I still might do it.”
