There hasn’t been an event that Katy Perry has not looked incredible on the red carpet at — and the 2015 Golden Globes was no exception! And it’s really affordable.
Katy Perry had a quick interaction with Jennifer Lawrence on the Golden Globes red carpet, we saw that JLaw complimented on her hair — and with that, the singer admitted she was wearing a bumpit! We also have to give it to Katy for going very simple with her makeup. Find out how to get her look here.

Katy wore her hair down (“a wig” as she referred to it to on the red carpet) looking natural, and added some volume with the simple bumpit — and it’s super affordable (shop here!) Franco Gobbi was behind Katy’s look, and he used Schwarzkopf products to really amp up her volumized look. Franco back-combed Katy’s hair and sprinkled Osis+ Dust It through her hair for even more volume, giving the look a high-shine finish with BC Color Freeze Gloss Serum.
As for her makeup, you can get Katy’s contoured look by makeup artist Todd Delano with drugstore products. He told us:
“For Katy’s Golden Globe look I began by prepping her skin with COVERGIRL TruBlend Primer for Combination Skin. Next, I applied Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation in Buff Beige to give her a luminous look that would last throughout the award show. I warmed up her skin with TruBlend Bronzer in Medium and added a pop of rosy color to her cheeks with TruBlend Blush in Medium Rose.
The eyes were the main focus for Katy’s look so I began by blending the new TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Nudes using the matte colors over the eye lid. These palettes are incredibly smooth, really blendable and deliver awesome color! I then did a thick cat eye using TruNaked Waterproof Eyeliner Duo in Mocha Ebony. No eye look is complete without big, voluminous lashes, so I used two coats of Plumpify Blastpro by Lashblast Mascara. This mascara has become a staple in my kit, because it lifts the lashes from the root so they appear darker, fuller and more noticeable – definitely a new favorite!
To complete Katy’s look, I wanted her lips to go seamlessly with her soft pink gown, so I applied Colorlicious OhSugar! in Sprinkle, which gave her the perfect wash of pink that nicely brought everything together.”
Now, of course Katy’s not up for any awards and she has been taking a break from music for a bit, but that doesn’t mean she’s not still a huge star — and she proved it with this look. Stream Katy’s music here!
This year’s Golden Globes actually featured a ton of stars who aren’t nominated to present this year — including Jennifer Lopez, Chris Evans, Kate Bosworth, Sophia Bush, Will Ferrell, and Jonah Hill. So basically, it’s a night of every celebrity you ever wanted. But lucky for us, Katy does know how to stand out!
Earlier in the day, Katy took to Instagram to show her seat inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel, adding, “Help. I have to “act professional” all night. #goldenglobes.” Of course, we’re hoping she doesn’t!
