Channing Tatum may have an award-winning body, but his hair at the Golden Globes? Not so much, as the ‘Magic Mike’ star’s emo-style at the Jan. 10 event was mocked by fans — they called it an old man’s comb-over while comparing him to Crispin Glover! Click to see.
Channing Tatum, what are you doing? The 35-year-old star is known for being one of the sexiest hunks in Hollywood, but his hair at the Golden Globe awards was anything but hot. Fans had plenty of fun mocking his unusual style choice, saying he bore a striking resemblance to Tobey Maguire, 40, in Spider-Man 3 before suggesting he was the lead singer of an Emo-punk band!
Maybe Channing is really a big fan of The Fifth Element? When he and wife Jenna Dewan, 35, arrived at the Golden Globes on Jan. 10, fans wondered if he was dressing up as Gary Oldman’s character from the Bruce Willis — Milla Jovovich sci-fi adventure romp. Channing’s hairstyle was completely bizarre, as his naturally good looks were completely erased by his unusual hairstyle.
Other people thought his “hair-spiration” was Crispin Glover, who rocked a similar, awkward hairstyle in movies like Willard and the Charlie’s Angels films. Some even suggested that Channing was pulling a Peter Parker from Spider-Man 3. Considering that Channing is playing another comic book superhero, Gambit, this hair might actually be for the role.
While on the red carpet, Channing looked completely different from his jaw-dropping performance on Lip Sync Battle. He and his wife, Jenna, totally tore the house down, with Jenna even giving her hubby’s Magic Mike routine a run for its money. When it was Channing’s turn, he threw on a sparkly gown and channeled Elsa from Frozen. Maybe Channing should have brought that Elsa wig with him to the Golden Globes?
What did you think of his hair, HollywoodLifers? Embarrassing, or perfectly fine?
