A horrible report has revealed that a man calling himself Jesus Christ tried to kidnap President Obama’s adorable dogs, Bo and Sunny! Don’t worry, both pups are safe and sound. But you have to hear this insane plot to believe it. Read on to find out the details!
What a nightmare! A man who told police his name was Jesus Christ (what!?), but really named Scott D. Stockert, 49, told Secret Service agents on January 6 that he was going to kidnap President Barack Obama‘s beloved dogs, Bo and Sunny. Luckily, the agents apprehended him before anything happened. The rest of his plot was even more shocking. Read on for the details!
Can you believe this? The Minnesota field office of the Secret Service got a tip that Scott intended to kidnap one of President Obama’s Portuguese water dogs, according to a filing in D.C. Superior Court, and agents took action. Scott drove from his home in North Dakota to Washington, D.C., and was apprehended at a Hampton Inn at 901 6th Street NW. He told the officers some shocking claims — that his name was Jesus Christ, and his parents were John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. Um, okay buddy.
Scott also told the agents that he was in D.C. so that he could announce his candidacy for president, and straight up ‘fessed to wanting to kidnap the dogs. Making it easy for the agents! He even led the Secret Service straight to the weapons cache in his pickup truck when they asked him if he had any weapons. And boy, did he: a 12-gauge pump shotgun and a bolt-action .22-caliber rifle, both unloaded (and unregistered), along with 350 rounds of ammunition, a billy club and a machete with a 12-inch blade. Woah!
Scott was charged with carrying a rifle or shotgun outside his home or place of business, and released to a “high-intensity supervision program;” he cannot possess any real or imitation weapons, nor go near the White House or Capitol. A court date is still pending. We’re just so glad that Bo and Sunny are safe, and that nothing further happened in this insane incident!
