Back to work! After a relaxing holiday, Gwen Stefani is in the studio again, and her man Blake Shelton couldn’t be more excited. The country star tweeted a sweet message of support for his lady after she revealed she’s recording new music — do you think she’s writing about him?!
Gwen Stefani, 46, is hard at work! As a follow-up to her hit single “Used To Love You,” the singer is recording brand new music in the studio, and she’s sharing the experience with her fans. And, of course, her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, 39, is lovingly supporting her. Check out his adorable tweet right here!
“In the studio w @justin_tranter @imjmichaels @GregKurstin #musicismagic,” Gwen wrote on Twitter, along with a photo of herself and the hit songwriters in front of a soundboard. She later added a pic of herself kneeling on the studio floor, with her hands in a praying position. “Thank u dear God for this amazing song we just wrote,” she gushed. And Blake was quick to take notice of what his gal’s putting out there on social media. “Guaranteed greatness,” he commented. OMG, stop!
OKAY, we HAVE to know…what could this song be about!? It’s been an whirlwind year for the 46-year-old — she divorced her husband, Gavin Rossdale, 50, in August after allegedly finding out he’d been cheating. But it seems she’s gotten most of her emotions regarding that subject out in her 2015 hit “Used To Love You,” so perhaps these new tunes will be of happier times?
She certainly has a lot to write about in that area, too…thanks to the 39-year-old! The No Doubt frontwoman has been looking happier than ever over the last few weeks — she even just spent the holidays with Blake at his home in Oklahoma — so we can imagine that he’s given her some inspiration for a love song or two (or 12). Despite originally keeping their relationship pretty low-key, Gwen and Blake have had no qualms about being public with their love these days. Prior to this sweet exchange, Gwen gushed on Twitter that her man is so “funny and cute,” and the “Gonna” singer revealed that he’s already having a “great 2016” thanks to his girl. We can’t handle the sweetness!
HollywoodLifers, are you excited to hear new music from Gwen?! DO you think she’ll write a lot of songs about Blake?
