Let’s just make one thing clear: Lydia Martin can never catch a break. The 5B premiere found Lydia (Holland Roden) in Eichen House, and Valack was trying to get answers about Theo. She uncovered that the reason Theo (Cody Christian) killed his sister was because he wanted to steal her heart. Apparently, a transplant would make him a genetic chimera, according to Valack.

Theo wasn’t the main person we needed to be worried about, though. He was just the first step in the Dread Doctors’ creation of the perfect killer a.k.a. The Beast (who didn’t make an appearance tonight). However, everything started with Theo. He wasn’t far. Theo and the rest of his new pack showed up at Eichen House, and they were there for Lydia! But can we just talk about how Lydia’s got a hole in her HEAD?! Poor girl.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Stilinski was fighting for his life. In the midst of his pain and suffering, he called out for Stiles, who was freaking out in the waiting room. The fear and worry on his face was just devastating. Dylan O’Brien deserves all of the awards right this second.

Over at the McCall house, Scott (Tyler Posey) was recovering from his brutal fight with Liam (Dylan Sprayberry). He was a broken man and had officially hit his lowest point. Everything that had just happened finally came to a head, and Scott collapsed!

Operation: Help Lydia

It wouldn’t be an episode of Teen Wolf without a shirtless scene. We were blessed with a NAKED SHOWER SCENE with Parrish (Ryan Kelley). It was magical. Things got even hotter when he started imagining himself making out with a naked Lydia! He realized this was too good to be true and that it was actually a sign — someone was dying. Finding Lydia was a must, which he did pretty quickly. She was practically comatose and had drawn the Sheriff’s badge on a rock with fingernails. After going to get Scott, they took her to the hospital.

While Parrish was tending to Lydia, Scott went up to find Stiles. Sheriff Stilinski was getting worse, and no one knew why. Stiles caught a glimpse of Scott looking in on his dad, and he lost it. For the first time in Teen Wolf history, Scott and Stiles got into a nasty fight. Stiles was angry and took it out on Scott. Scott’s probably going to let this one slide.

Scott admitted that Stiles’ dad wasn’t the only person who had gotten hurt. Stiles figured out he was talking about Lydia, and the look on his face destroyed me. Stiles immediately went to see Lydia, and it was everything. Unfortunately, Mrs. Martin was being the worst and kicked him out. You don’t keep Stydia apart! He was so worried and yelled for Mrs. Martin to check Lydia’s head. It was NASTY. So Mrs. Martin sent her daughter to Eichen House, with Parrish begging her not to.

‘You Still Got Me’

Parrish, Stiles, Scott and Mama McCall had to have a pow wow about what to do next. While they were very worried about Lydia, they needed to find out how to save Stiles’ dad. Theo had the answers they needed.

Scott listened in on Stiles and Theo’s conversation, and Theo dropped some pretty shocking information. But first, he tried to tell Stiles that he wasn’t the bad guy. He knew what was coming, and it was bad. He wouldn’t tell Stiles what was happening to his dad, almost like he didn’t know.

Stiles’ emotions got the best of him, and he went after Theo. Theo knocked him unconscious. Scott and Stiles then figured out that Theo wasn’t the one who attacked Sheriff Stilinski, but it was another chimera. Stiles got a little stubborn and wasn’t going to allow Scott to help him find the guy. After some hardcore convincing, Stiles eased up.

Scott took things to an awkward new level by calling Malia (Shelley Hennig) to help him and Stiles. Malia was the one to tell Scott that she and Stiles had broken up. They couldn’t focus on that at the moment, the kid they were looking for popped out of nowhere and knocked out Stiles! He dreamt of the day of his mother’s funeral, and his father sweetly told him, “You still got me.” Aw!

The Dread Doctors showed up, but Scott called in backup. Chris Argent (J.R. Bourne) returned with guns blazing! Hallelujah!

The Pack Is Back

Elsewhere in Beacon Hills, Liam was determined to find Hayden, whom he was convinced wasn’t really dead. Mason, who’s clearly been taking notes since he arrived, told Liam that he needed to find the nemeton to find Hayden. The Stiles and Scott 2.0 found the special spot, after Liam looked around with his wolf eyes. And guess what? Hayden showed up!

Oh, and Liam’s stepdad is super hot. And the McDreamy of Beacon Hills isn’t stupid. He figured out very quickly that something was up in the town, and Mama McCall knew something about it. Liam’s stepdad’s theory was confirmed when Mama McCall had a hunch that Stilinski was being poisoned by a piece of bone (from a chimera) they didn’t catch. She was right!

Stilinski survived, and Stiles was right by his side when he woke up. When Stilinski was able to talk, he muttered, “You still got me.”

Scott’s pack may be all over the place, but they are finding their way back to each other. Theo realized that. But Theo still had his plan, though. His pack went looking for Lydia in Eichen House, but they weren’t necessarily after her. Theo wanted to get her out of the mad house, and it looked like he really felt sorry for her. What he really wanted was a hellhound, and Parrish was right there. Things are about to get really interesting.
