Gwen Stefani traded out her long, platinum blonde extensions for an edgy black dip-dye style that’s back to shoulder-length. Get the details on her latest hair makeover, and let us know what you think of it!
Gwen Stefani, 46, is known for breaking the beauty rules and somehow making them seem totally cool. Case in point, the “Used To Love You” singer just went back to one of her favorite hair looks as of late — a bold dip-dye. But instead of the soft pastel colors most celebs stick to, Gwen added her signature punk-princess edge to the look by making her color block a jet black shade.
Gwen may be known for her platinum blonde hair, but she certainly never leaves it the same style for very long. While lately she’s been using extensions to go from her shoulder-length bob one day to waist-length braids the next, this time Gwen decided to switch up her color a bit.
Opting for a color block effect on just half of her hair, Gwen went for a black shade that really jumps out against her otherwise platinum blonde color. In keeping with the edgy vibe the new black shade gave her, Gwen styled her hair back in a messy knot with her hair just loose at the front where the new black dip-dye is.

If you’re not a fan of her new dip-dye look, don’t worry because it probably won’t last long. When Gwen first rocked the look, she switched it up to a color blocked blue and black look weeks later before completely going back to platinum blonde.
