So scary! Jesse Tyler Ferguson took to his Instagram to share the news that he had just undergone a procedure to take cancer ‘out of his face’! See the intense pic!
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, 40, had a terrifying cancer scare, which he admitted in an Instagram post on Dec. 8. Sharing a photo of himself with a massive bandage over his cheek, the Modern Family star thanked doctors for removing what he said was cancer, right out of his face! Of course, because it’s Jesse, he somehow managed to make the scary pic equally hilarious. See what he said!
“Thank you to Dr. Bennett & his entire team for taking the cancer out of my face,” Jesse captioned the closeup photo of his mug, which was adorned with a big white bandage. “Good luck hiding the stitches tomorrow @modernfamily_makeuphair! #youwannapieceofme #phantommask #spf75,” he added.
If you don’t understand what Jesse’s getting at, let us explain. He tagged the hair and makeup team for his hit series, Modern Family, as production for the comedy is currently underway. Meaning it is going to fall on those professionals to cover up what we can safely assume is quite a big mark on Jesse’s face! Good luck, indeed!
In happier news, Jesse’s scare was shortly eclipsed by much more positive events! On Dec. 9, the nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced and, as has basically become awards show tradition, Modern Family was nominated: the entire cast picked up a nod for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Thankfully, the show is not until Jan. 30, so Jesse’s face has got plenty of time to get back to perfect condition! We are so happy Jesse is doing okay, and admire him for bravely sharing the news!
