Wow, so touching. Two years after his untimely death, Paul Walker is being honored by his ‘Fast and the Furious’ costar, Vin Diesel, who took to Facebook to say they will ‘always’ be brothers.
“You will always be my brother,” Vin Diesel, 48, wrote in a Facebook tribute to the late Paul Walker, who died exactly two years ago on Nov. 30, 2013. The two, who worked together in the Fast and the Furious films, were super close when Paul died in a car crash at just 40 years old, and Vin made sure his pal knew he was thinking of him on the emotional anniversary. See his whole tribute.
“No matter where you are in this universe… You will always be, my brother,” Vin wrote on his Facebook page on Nov. 30. No other words were needed, of course. Vin also took to his Instagram to post the most tender and loving photo in honor of Paul.
The two sit next to one another, slouched over, as they look at each other deeply. However, if you look closely, you can see that Paul’s figure is almost translucent, compared to Vin’s. “Brotherhood has no limits,” it is written across the moving pic. You can see the whole post below.
This isn’t the first time that Vin has paid homage to his fallen friend, of course. In fact, at the MTV Movie Awards back in April, Paul literally sang a tribute to Paul— but not just any song. He sang the song written specifically for Paul, called “See You Again.” Vin looked beyond proud as he sang to his friend, and it is clear that no matter what, he will always love his friend.
Rest in peace, Paul. You are missed truly and deeply each and every day.
