Kim is back, and finally doing the Samba to ‘I Dream Of Jeannie’ that she didn’t get to do! After having a serious stroke on Sept. 22, she missed a live show, which meant she was disqualified from ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ However, on the Nov. 24 finale, she made her grand return!
Kim Zolciak actually had to undergo a heart surgery following her scary departure, so it’s a good thing she left when she did — and now she’s looking better than ever! The former Dancing With the Stars competitor suffered a stroke on Sept. 22, which caused her to temporarily lose the ability to speak — and of course had to be removed from the competition, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell by her dancing![hl_amazon_ns]
Awwww, it was so great to see Kim back in the ballroom! Donning as sexy pink ensemble, the reality star lit up the dance floor with her partner, Tony Dovolani, and she had a smile on her face the entire time.
We knew Kim would be back — and everyone wanted to her to be! After it was revealed that she’d been disqualified, 37-year-old posted a pic of Paula Deen holding her parking spot and wrote that she had a “heavy” heart since she wasn’t on the DWTS set. “I’m healthy and happy I finally was able to attend my husbands game! I’ll be back for the finale in NOV I’ll kick ass 😎😎 #BestExperienceEver #IAdoreEveryoneOnDWTS #BackSomeday,” she captioned the pic.
Fans also petitioned to bring her back to the show after her disqualification on Sept. 28, but the rules were rules — she didn’t come to the live show, she couldn’t perform. However, following her mini-stroke, doctors had found a hole in her heart, so it was a smart decision for her to stay home and get some rest.
“The minor TIA [mini stroke] revealed that I have a PFO [patent foramen ovale], which is like a hole in your heart that I was born with that never closed,” Kim said on Good Morning America on Oct. 8. “The blood clot was able to cross over through the hole, whereas most people don’t have that and it’s not able to do that. That’s what caused [the stroke].”
Well, we’re just thrilled to see Kim up and dancing again with Tony at her side!
