NFL heartthrob Johnny Manziel spent two days partying hard during the Cleveland Browns’ bye week on Nov. 21 and 22. This comes after the troubled star spent time in rehab in early 2015. Check out the concerning footage from the party, here.
Johnny Manziel, 22, went on a booze bender on Nov. 21 and 22 in Austin, TX, during the Cleveland Browns’ bye week. The young quarterback has gotten himself into trouble with partying before, and even went to rehab in early 2015. So, does this spell trouble? Take a look at his crazy party video, here!
Uh oh, Johnny was caught out partying again after going to rehab earlier this year for an unspecified reason. The young football prodigy can be seen singing and dancing with his friends at the RIO Rooftop Nightclub in Austin, TX in a video obtained by TMZSports.com. He’s clutching his own bottle of Dom Perrignon while wearing a t-shirt and baseball cap. The party looks like a lot of fun, but Johnny has become notorious for his partying, and he’s had a rough year already.
Johnny has a bright start in the NFL, being the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy, the Manning Award and the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award while he was at Texas A&M University. He was then picked first round at the 2014 NFL draft, and shined on the field. However, the problems with his behavior began surfacing quickly. A photo of Johnny drinking straight from a champagne bottle circulated the web in June 2014, according to Fox News. One month later, another picture surfaced of Johnny appearing to roll a bill up in a Las Vegas bar bathroom. After concern for him began to grow, he entered rehab for an unspecified reason in Jan. 2014.
However, in Oct. police talked to Johnny for a domestic dispute with his girlfriend Colleen Elizabeth Crowley. She said he pushed her head against the glass of his car, and refused to give her phone back to her. Then she threw his wallet out the window and tried to exit the car. He wasn’t arrested, and told police that he was sober and she had been drinking. He was never punished by the NFL for anything. Now, he’s proved that he’s back to his old ways, partying with his buddies. When asked what he would be doing during the Browns’ bye week, he said he planned to lay low. According to TMZSports, he told the media he wouldn’t do anything that would “be a distraction to this team or be an embarrassment to the organization.” Hopefully Johnny gets his act together, because he’s got a bright future in the NFL and we want to see him succeed!
