Jennifer Lopez and Heidi Klum stay in shape and look sexy all year long, because they know tips and tricks for avoiding holiday weight gain. Now, their trainer is spilling his secrets for you!

Celebrity trainer and wellness expert David Kirsch works with some of the world’s sexiest women — Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, and Kate Upton, just to name a few. He’s revealing his top tips so you can stay in shape and focused despite the holiday temptations!

David is revealing how to stay on track during the holidays! He says:

“The first and most important tip I give to all of my clients is that temptation is all around you during holiday time. Being prepared and having a good defense is key to navigating the holidays in a healthful way.

Start your day with some movement and exercise! As little as five minutes of movement every day will start you on the right path.

DON’T skip your breakfast. Start the day with protein — eggs, a protein shake or a fat — try plain Greek yogurt with some fresh berries.

You’re not going to be perfect, nobody is! Just take the attitude that if you’re going to play, you’re going to pay! For every cheat — cocktail or otherwise — you’re going to have to sweat it off!! A hard core workout — cardio, run, or power walk.

Before going out to a holiday party, I always have one of my DavidKirsch Wellness Protein Shakes.  It fills my belly with quality protein, and makes it less likely that I will go for the ‘unhealthy’ appetizers.  Also, if  I have a glass of red wine (my favorite), the protein shake will go far at buffering the effects of the alcohol.”
