Makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen worked with Votre Vu to create Natalie’s glistening makeup look, and shared his exact breakdown with us. After applying foundation and concealer to Natalie’s face, Matthew used the Votre Vu Palette Play in Violette to coordinate her eyeshadow to her Vivian Westwood dress. Matthew started by applying the palest shade, Chiffon, all over her lids, then swept Raw Silk onto the lid and up to the crease of her eye. To create more dimension, he worked the plum shade, Moiré, on the outer corner of Natalie’s crease. To complete her eye makeup, he lined her upper and lower lashline with Votre Vu Le Joli Crayon in Aubergine and finished with two coats of black mascara.

For her textured updo, Macadamia Professional‘s Giannandrea first applied Macadamia Professional Foaming Volumizer throughout Natalie’s hair while it was still wet. After blowing her hair out with a large round brush for more volume, Giannandrea rubbed a quarter-sized amount of Macadamia Professional Whipped Detailing Cream through her hair, gently scrunching it, to create texture and separation. He then took small sections of Natalie’s hair, twisting them into tiny knots and securing with pins, taking the rest of her hair and twisting it back into a bun. To lock it all in place, he finished with Macadamia Professional Flex Hold Shaping Spray.
