Oh no. Khloe Kardashian was forced to cancel book tour appearances, as she’ll be undergoing tests after stress caused an unknown illness, the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star said on Twitter Nov. 18. It’s unclear what illness Khloe is suffering from, but it doesn’t sound good.
Uh oh. Multiple promotional appearances for her new book, Strong Looks Better Naked (buy your copy here), combined with Lamar Odom‘s almost fatal drug overdose has led Khloe Kardashian, 31, to seek medical attention. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was forced to cancel upcoming tour appearances so she can undergo tests to find out answers about an unknown illness she’s currently suffering from.
“Dolls! So sorry I needed 2 re schedule my book signing. I’m sick & dr’s orders are that I need to lay low until we narrow down what’s wrong. I’ll be going for more testing today. I’m very sorry again. Stress can run our bodies down so please everyone take care of yourselves,” she told her millions of fans in two tweets on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
Thus far, Khloe has cancelled two book tour appearances, but more may be cancelled in the future, depending on what doctors advise her to do. However, she is hoping to reschedule her appearances once she finds out what she’s dealing with. Khloe was scheduled to appear in Houston, Texas, on Friday for a book signing.
Book tours can be stressful on their own, but Khloe has been by Lamar’s bedside every day since he fell into a coma on Oct. 13. He’s now awake, but the former NBA player has a long road to full recovery ahead of him. And Khloe, who has been by his side every step of the way, could be burning out from spreading herself too thin. A source close to the reality star seemed to confirm this when they told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “She is just run down and burning the candle at both ends.”
