For Kelly Clarkson, the struggle with her pregnancy is real. The ‘Invincible’ singer is having such a hard time with being pregnant, saying that she feels sick ‘all day’ and that she required ‘IVs’ just to be able to function.
Poor Kelly Clarkson! The 33-year-old singer loves being a mom, but she is not having a fun time being pregnant. While Kelly hoped that this second pregnancy wouldn’t bring the same problems she did when she was carrying her daughter, River Rose, that’s sadly not the case!
“I’m familiar with all-day sickness,” Kelly told CBS This Morning’s Gayle King during a Nov. 18 appearance, reports Us Weekly. While Kelly laughed this unfortunate familiarity off, she said “I have to get IVs and fluids because I get so dehydrated. It’s really bad.” Aw. That’s so sad!
Kelly suffered many complications when she was pregnant with her first daughter, according to E! News. Even after Kelly gave birth, she had issues, almost losing her famous voice. She even though she would have to retire. Thankfully, she came roaring back.
Hopefully, things get better for her with this pregnancy. She and husband Brandon Blackstock wanted a second child, and their wish was granted! Kelly confirmed she was expecting during an emotional performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. While breaking down during “Piece By Piece,” she blurted out that she was “totally pregnant” and it was totally cute.
Kelly topped that cuteness when she announced the sex of her next child. Kelly broke the news that her daughter was going to have a little brother on Oct. 23 with an adorable Instagram of her little girl. Kelly said that River was “so excited” to be a big sister, and that she was looking forward to having a son!
Sadly, this pregnancy has been a struggle from the start. She cancelled the Canadian and UK dates of her “Piece By Piece Tour,” apologizing to her fans for pulling out of the show. “Unfortunately,” Kelly said in a statement, “my doctor is telling me that I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible.” We hope so, too!
Hopefully, Kelly will recover soon and feel better. HollywoodLifers – leave your own “Get Well Soon” messages to Kelly below!
