Um, this is insane. Ben Stein said on Nov. 17 that President Obama has a ‘hatred for America,’ and claims that he hasn’t taken ISIS seriously enough. And that’s not all, see what else he had to say about the POTUS, here.
Woah. Actor and author Ben Stein, 70, just said that President Obama, 54, has a ‘hatred for America.’ Um… what? He also made the controversial statement that the president isn’t taking ISIS seriously. See what else he said, here!
This is pretty extreme. Ben said a bunch of really controversial stuff about the president in an interview with Newsmax TV on Nov. 17, and you’re not going to believe some of his statements. “He’s a very real danger. The question is, why is he so angry at America? I don’t think there’s much question that he does not wish America well. He has a real strong hatred of America,” said Ben. Saying that the President hates his own country is already pretty crazy, but what he said next is even worse. “Is it because he’s part black? I don’t know. Is it because he felt his father was mistreated by the British in Kenya? I don’t know.” Uhhhhhhh. What?
Ben went on to say that President Obama is partially responsible for the Paris attacks because he let ISIS get so strong. “He called them a JV team, he said that they weren’t really serious or important,” said Ben. “He has not in any sense addressed their threat. As the leader of the most important nation in the world, he’s a bad joke.” On top of that, he said President Obama is “missing in action” while other world leaders are trying to figure out how to fight ISIS.
The controversy doesn’t end there, folks. Ben also wants all Muslim Americans to be subject to surveillance. “I don’t see how we can consider that our Muslims fellow citizens should be above surveillance considering that all the terrorism that’s come out or almost all has come from Muslims. They’re not the same as other people in the country,” Stein said.”They’ve made a lot of trouble.” Um, wow. We can’t help but cringe at all this, and clearly Twitter feels the same way. They’re lashing out at the actor for being racist.

With the high alert for terror right now, we can’t afford to be speaking this way about our fellow Americans. Get it together, Ben.
