How To Stay Thin During The Holiday Season — Khloe Kardashian’s Tips

Khloe Kardashian looks better than ever thanks to a healthy diet and an intense workout regimen. She is sharing her stay-healthy secrets to get you through the tempting holiday season below!

Fitness is a huge part of Khloe Kardashian‘s life, but the reality star admits that she loves to indulge a little bit over the holidays. Find out how she stays on track right here.

Khloe wrote on her website:

“For me, there is no such thing as break from fitness — being fit is a 24/7 lifestyle! Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge a little bit during the holidays. I host Thanksgiving for my family and cook up some insanely delicious (read: unhealthy!) dishes. It’s really all about balance! Eat an extra piece of pumpkin pie, but do an extra rep of squats too. Read on for all of my dos and don’ts for staying healthy during the holidays.”

Here are her top tips:

“DO indulge! I eat what I want — in moderation. It’s all about small portions. That way I feel good, I eat what I want and I enjoy the holiday. I don’t want to feel like I can’t eat a cookie if I want a cookie! Making sure it’s just one cookie, though, keeps me from feeling guilty about it.

DO prepare some easy, at-home workouts if you’re traveling and can’t get to the gym. You can do squats and planks ANYWHERE, so don’t tell me you can’t squeeze in a quick workout! I always pack a jump rope in my suitcase, too. It’s just light and easy.

DO travel smart. If you’re traveling for the holidays, make sure you pack healthy snacks to keep you on track. I always travel with protein powder. Select Cookies ‘N Cream protein powder is my favorite, and it’s so yummy that I can’t believe it’s healthy — but it is! I also always have Justin’s Peanut Butter Packs in my purse at all times, because I know if I’m hungry and don’t have a snack, I’ll just get a burger and fries. Healthy snacks keep my appetite in check so I don’t binge.

DON’T skip the gym! I work out on holidays, I work out on my birthday. Holidays aren’t an excuse to take the day off. Especially on the days I know I’ll be eating a lot — like Thanksgiving — working out is so important. It sets the tone for the whole day, and I feel like if I work out in the morning, I eat healthier during the day because I don’t want to ruin the hard work I just put in. If I don’t work out, I end up eating sh*ttier because I don’t feel good.”
