Khloe Kardashian hasn’t been afraid to open up about the impact of Caitlyn Jenner’s transition on her and her family. During a visit to ‘Ellen,’ Khloe even admitted that there’s no ‘glimmer of Bruce’ left. Watch her confession below!
Khloe Kardashian, 31, is not one to shy away from her feelings, as many Keeping Up With The Kardashian viewers know by now. That’s why her new book, “Strong Looks Better Naked,” is so important — it reveals how she was really feeling during some difficult times in her life, including the arrival of Caitlyn Jenner. So, what does she think about Caitlyn now that the dust has settled?
“Well, I had a hard time because I found out on camera. Like, while we were filming, and I felt like we kept asking him, ‘Bruce, what’s going on, we’re hearing all these rumors?’ And he kept telling us one thing, but really he knew he was transitioning and wouldn’t be honest with us. So we felt like we were kind of the last to know so that was hard for us. Especially me. I defended him for so long or whatever. So that was hard for me and then now I’m fully ok with it, but I think the biggest part for me was understanding that Bruce is totally separate than Caitlyn.”
Khloe continued to explain, “And he liked to tell us that, ‘Oh I’m always going to be Bruce. I’ll always be your Dad, I’m just gonna be…’ and I think he meant that. I don’t think Bruce knew fully that when he would be Caitlyn I’m sure he… no one knows what’s going to happen we’re all doing this for the first time.” Well said, Koko! It’s also so great to hear her gushing about the gorgeous Caitlyn, especially after everything they’ve been through.
“So now that we know that he’s, Caitlyn, is not Bruce,” Khloe told Ellen in a heartbreaking moment where she realized her father is gone. “They’re two separate people and kind of mourn the loss of Bruce now I’m fine with everything.”
Do you agree with Khloe, HollywoodLifers? Is there any resemblance between Caitlyn and Bruce, or do you think all “glimmers of Bruce” are gone? Share your thoughts below!
