Oh no! Ronda Rousey was hospitalized in Australia after losing her first fight ever to Holly Holm in a brutal defeat. The fight got nasty, and it looks like Ronda may have been hurt!

Ronda Rousey, 28, is probably not feeling too hot this morning. The UFC fighter was shockingly defeated in her Nov. 14 fight with Holly Holm, 34, and Ronda was later hospitalized! Find out why she was transported to the hospital and if she’s OK now!

UPDATE: “No official comment yet but she was kept at the hospital last night for observation. This was just a precaution as her CT scan came back as normal,” UFC told

Ronda got pummeled in the second round of the fight, suffering a nasty kick to the neck. After the fight was over, Ronda was taken to a hospital in Australia following the knockout at UFC 193, TMZ reports.

At the time, a rep for UFC told the outlet: “Ronda is currently being transported to a local hospital for precautionary purposes.” Later it was revealed that Ronda had to be treated for injuries.

“She was transported because she got knocked out,” President Dana White told MMAjunkie. “Then her lip was split in half, so they had to sew her lip.”

Going into UFC 193, Ronda was defending her Women’s Bantamweight Championship. She was 12-0 before fighting Holly. Before stepping into the ring, Ronda called Holly the best “striker” in MMA. She openly admitted that Holly would be her “biggest challenge” to date. You got that right, Ronda! However, in an interview before the fight, Ronda dissed Holly! She said the “life of a champion” isn’t for everyone, getting a dig in at Holly!
