Step aside, Republicans. It’s the Democrats’ turn. Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley will meet on Nov. 14 for their second debate to discuss the important issues. HollywoodLife.com wants you to see every second! Click to watch.
Get ready. It’s going to be a political triple threat when Bernie Sanders, 74, Martin O’Malley, 52, and Hillary Clinton, 68, square off for the second Democratic debate. Will Hillary and Martin “feel the Bern” or will Hillary prove why she’s the odds-on-favorite to win the party nomination?
The exciting match-up between these three will go down on Nov. 14 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. CBS’s John Dickerson will be the lead moderator, and he’ll be joined by Nancy Cordes and two local journalists — Kevin Cooney and Kathie Obradovich. The action starts on CBS on 9 p.m. EST, so be sure to be ready to catch every thrilling political minute.
It’s hard to believe that there are only three Democratic candidates left, considering there are still fifteen Republicans running for president. Out of the historic 17 candidates, only two – Rick Perry and Scott Walker – have dropped out of the race, so far. On the Democratic side, Jim Webb backed out of the Democratic primary on Oct. 20, according to CNN. The former Virginia senator is considering running as an independent. Lincoln Chafee is out, too. He withdrew from the primary just days after Jim, on Oct. 23, according to CNN.
At the first Democratic debate, Bernie told Hillary that America is “sick and tired” of about her emails, before slamming the US as an “embarrassment” for not providing paid maternity leave. Hillary also got in a shot, slamming Republicans for loving “Big Government” when it comes to dictating a women’s right to choose.
Let’s see if the Democrats can match the Republicans when it comes to incredible and sometimes, unbelievable comments. Will Hillary respond to Carly Fiorina calling her a hypocrite? Will Bernie address Donald Trump‘s remarks how gun-control laws create “feeding frenzies?” Will Martin take up Jeb Bush’s offer of a “warm kiss?” There’s only one way to find out!
Are you excited for the second Democratic debate, HollywoodLifers?
