Leaders around the globe sent their prayers to Paris after the horrible tragedy of Nov. 13. Hillary Clinton, 68, Donald Trump, 69, and other world leaders formed a united front with France. They took to Twitter to send messages of strength and support. We have all of their heartfelt prayers for Paris here.
There were no Democrats and Republicans on Nov. 13, when the world learned of the astonishing terror attacks in Paris. Everyone was a citizen of the world, and our collective hearts ached for France and what their people were going through. After learning that a reported 127 innocent people were killed in at least five separate, orchestrated attacks, world leaders took to Twitter to share their support for the injured nation. Here are just a few.
Several of the United States presidential candidates stood united to show their support.
Canada’s Prime Ministers past and present shared their deep condolences for France’s people.
India’s Prime Minister pledged his support to France.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron ensured he would help in any way he can.
France’s President shared this inspiring message with his people: “Faced with dread, there is a Nation who knows to defend himself, known to mobilize its forces and, once again, will defeat terrorists.”
It’s a beautiful thing to see the world’s nations unite in the face of tragedy. Perhaps the one light in all of this darkness is a sense of responsibility that will grow between the nations. Hopefully it won’t be soon forgotten, and we can all help France heal from the terror.
