Kim Kardashian has sadly revealed that she doesn’t know whether Lamar Odom will ‘ever be the same again’ following his near death experience. Listen to her devastating interview.
Kim Kardashian, 35, is speaking out on her estranged brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, 36, explaining that “you never know if he’ll ever be the same again,” after he was found unconscious on Oct. 13. Kim, whose younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, 31, is still legally married to Lamar, dropped by Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show on Nov. 13 to give a heartbreaking update on the former NBA star. Listen inside.
“He’s here and he’s alive, but to say it’s not a long road and to say he’s fully better is not the truth either,” Kim said during her interview on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “He has a lot of work to do and a lot of communication therapy and having to learn to walk again and to talk again. You never know if he’ll ever be the same again.”
Wow, so heavy. Kim also added that she and her family love Lamar very much, and asked those listening to continue praying for him. “Lamar is family and he’ll always be family, we’ll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him,” she adds. “It’s a really unfortunate, sad situation all the way around the board, and I just encourage people to keep on praying because the road is nowhere near over.”
Thankfully, it isn’t all sad news. Kim also talked about her (soon coming to an end) pregnancy, expressing her excitement for the new bundle of joy– and the agony of waiting. “It doesn’t mean I have to like it,” Kim said of being pregnant. “And it doesn’t mean I have to be honest about how miserable it is that you have swollen feet and heartburn — it’s the worst.”
We continue to pray for Lamar on his journey back to health.
