Say what?! Kim Kardashian totally spilt the beans on her top hair and beauty secrets during an Instagram posting session on Nov. 12, revealing more than a few interesting facts about her famous mane. The most shocking revelation? How little she washes it!

When it comes to daily beauty routines, Kim Kardashian‘s is about as high- maintenance as they come. That is, except when it comes to her hair. The reality star recently dished on her favorite hair looks during an Instagram posting session for her KBeautyHair brand on Nov. 12, admitting that she likes to go days without washing her gorgeous locks! Is this some kind of joke?

Shockingly enough, Kim was not kidding about this one. While taking over the KBeautyHair Instagram account, Kim let fans in on some of her most famous hair moments and in some cases, the secrets behind them. So what does it take to get Kim K-approved hair on a daily basis? As it turns out, a lack of shampoo! That’s right, in what was arguably her most shocking beauty confession of all time, Kim admit that she only washes her hair every 3-5 days, which is pretty low-maintenance if you ask us.

The pregnant reality star shared the fun fact with her fans alongside an Instagram photo of her rocking a sleek ponytail. “A sleek ponytail is one of my go-to looks at the moment. I usually wash my hair maybe every 3-5 days and on the third or fourth day I’ll do a slicked-back ponytail. I get my hair super straight first with our ceramic iron.” Who knew?!

In addition to the haircare secret, Kim also shared her thoughts on a number of most famous beauty looks, reminding us of just how often she likes to change up her look. The her first photo under the KBeautyHair handle, Kim posted a snap of her with long, glamorous curls and light brown hair. She wrote: “I had everyone fooled with this look back in April, 2009, which was really a wig. But this actually inspired me to dye my hair blonde a few months after this pic was taken. #KKWtakeover.”

In another post, Kim shared a close-up of the bombshell curls she rocked for her appearance the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno back in 2013. “This is after I cut my bangs again in 2013 and then quickly got over them! @jenatkinhair was able to hide them using hairspray and brushing them into the curl to the side before my appearance on Jay Leno that night,” she captioned the photo. “It’s a great tip for anyone trying to hide their bangs while they grow out.” Noted!

Of course, Kim couldn’t recap her favorite beauty looks without giving a shout out to her infamous blonde days! The proud mama posted a photo of the bleach blonde look debuted at Paris Fashion Week in March, writing, ““For my Elle shoot I went platinum blonde! It took multiple sittings, and was probably the most drastic hair change I’ve ever made, but I loved it! #KKWtakeover.” Say what you will about Kim, but the girl knows her hair!
