All Gwen Stefani has to do is go to work at ‘The Voice’ to get the best support system anyone could want! She’s been going through a really tough time since her ex, Gavin Rossdale’s, alleged affair went public on Nov. 11, but HollywoodLife.com has the scoop on how her co-stars are helping her with everything going on.
It’s not just boyfriend Blake Shelton, 39, who has helped Gwen Stefani, 46, through her rough times post-divorce this year! Adam Levine, 36, Pharrell, 42, and others from The Voice set have really helped take the singer’s mind off things, including Gavin Rossdale’s alleged affair with Mindy Mann, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
“Her relationship with Blake has been a live saver — she doesn’t know how she could have survived this without him,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But it’s not just Blake, it’s her whole team on The Voice. They’re like family to her now. They all told her they’d support her if she needed to take some time off after the news hit about Gavin’s affair, but Gwen wouldn’t dream of it — she’s way too tough to let this break her. Plus, right now, the show is actually a huge form of therapy for her. She loves doing it and being with her TV family. It takes her mind off her personal life.”
On the same day news of Gavin’s alleged infidelity with the family’s nanny broke, Gwen pulled herself together and appeared on an emotional episode of The Voice, during which she had to say goodbye to three contestants. But, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported, Blake was by her side during commercial breaks, and even comforted her as she got tearful over everything going on. So sweet!
Although the allegations against Gavin just broke in Us Weekly on Nov. 11, Gwen has reportedly known about Gavin and Mindy’s alleged relationship since February, when the mag claims she found explicit texts between the two. The 50-year-old allegedly insisted it was just flirtation, but when a second nanny came forward with the truth about what was going on, Gavin was reportedly forced to confess, and his wife of 13 years filed for divorce.
It’s so great that the No Doubt singer has been able to focus on work instead of what’s been going on in her personal life, and it definitely hasn’t hurt to have her new man close by. Even before things got romantic between these two, Blake provided a shoulder to cry on for Gwen, and things blossomed from there. So sweet!
