Gwen Stefani has been serving up some major beauty looks as one of the judges on ‘The Voice.’ But for her latest look, the blonde rocker turned to a retro inspiration, ‘I Dream Of Jeannie.’ Get the details on her blonde updo and graphic black eyeliner!
Gwen Stefani, 46, transformed herself into a modern day Jeannie for the November 11 episode of NBC’s The Voice. The “Used To Love You” singer wore a bejeweled, graphic print top with bold, graphic cat eyeliner makeup and a high ponytail wrapped around at the top like the style from the TV show, I Dream Of Jeannie.

Makeup artist Gregory Arlt was behind Gwen’s latest look and her other stunning makeup looks throughout season 9. Gregory amped up the makeup Jeannie wore on TV to give Gwen a striking cat eye with the traditional flick on the upper lashline and a mini wing along the lower lashline, too. To recreate the look, use a liquid liner like Urban Decay Ink For Eyes, which is waterproof and has a super fine tip so you can create thin lines with ease or build up to create a thicker cat eye. Defined brows and oversized lashes rounded out the look, with just a simple pink lip gloss to keep it from being too dramatic.

For Gwen’s Jeannie-inspired hair, Danilo parted Gwen’s hair to the side and slicked it back into a high ponytail. Once secured with an elastic, loop the ponytail over to create a volumized appearance and anchor into place with bobby pins. For a glossy finish like Gwen’s spray It’s A 10 Miracle Shine Spray over your hair.
