UFO In L.A.: Was It Aliens? — Government Investigator Explains If There’s A Cover-Up

Everyone is still freaking out about that apparent UFO sighting over Los Angeles, so HollywoodLife chatted EXCLUSIVELY with a government investigator to get the serious answers. Was it really a Navy missile launch, or is that a stealth government cover-up?

Chills– everywhere! HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY spoke with a government investigator, Nick Pope, who explained whether the Nov. 7 “UFO sighting” was really a secret Trident missile test, or whether that was just a quick-thinking government cover-up. Nick went so far as to acknowledge that “conspiracy theorists will probably accuse me of being part of the cover-up,” which certainly makes us suspicious! Okay, so seriously, is the government hiding something from us?

“While it’s not nearly as exciting as theories about an impending alien invasion, I think that on this occasion the official explanation is the correct one,” Nick told us EXCLUSIVELY as to whether the explanation that the UFO was truly a covert missile test. Sure, Nick. Sure!

Nick did recognize that people may be skeptical of such a convenient explanation. “Conspiracy theorists will probably accuse me of being part of the cover-up for saying this, but in most of these cases, the simplest explanation is usually the right one,” he said. “I’m certainly not saying there aren’t some genuinely interesting and unexplained UFO sightings out there (I came across many such cases in my government work on this subject), it’s just that this isn’t one of them,” he added.

Okay, well, say what you’d like Nick– and we believe you to an extent– but we’re not going to ever stop wondering. Nick, it turns out, doesn’t blame us. “UFO sightings continue to fascinate people, as they speak to one of the most profound questions we can ask,” he said. “‘Are we alone or not in the Universe?'”,

What say you, HollywoodLifers? Do you believe Nick that the rational explanation is the right one, or are you a doubter?
