From ‘The Good Wife’ to the big bad? Sounds about right for Jeffrey Dean Morgan who is reportedly joining ‘The Walking Dead’ as the ultimate villain!
You thought you were afraid of the Governor? Well, Negan is twice as horrible as a villain on The Walking Dead, and we’ll finally get to meet him. Negan will be played by Jeffery Dean Morgan, multiple sources have confirmed to our sister site, TVLine. So, who is Negan?
For those of you who haven’t read Robert Kirkman‘s comics (spoilers ahead), a little backstory: Negan is the one who actually kills Glenn. However, we know that Glenn’s life is currently hanging by a thread and we still haven’t found out if he’s actually dead or not. So if he is, there’s a good chance that Negan will later kill him with Lucille, his barbed-wire bat.
Negan will debut on the current season of The Walking Dead sometime in the Spring, our sister site reports, and then he will return for season seven. Currently, JDM is on The Good Wife, but has not signed on for later seasons, so it’s possible that he’ll become a season regular on The Walking Dead — we all know we’ve needed a new Big Bad.
Along with Jeffrey, The Walking Dead will also introduce Jesus/Paul Monroe, which will be played by ! So, it sounds like this season and next are about to get even more intense. Are you excited for Jeffrey Dean Morgan to join as Negan? Do you think it’s strange to see him as a killer? Let us know!
